The most highlighted feature of this new phone is obviously unique speech recognition. The A50 from Micromax is boasts of 7.9cm capacitive touch screen. Micromax A50 is addition to its range of Android phones, including Micromax A85, A75, A73, A78. The phones are available between Rs. 4,999 and Rs. 12,500. The phone is Dual SIM (GSM+GSM) Capable and supports 3G Network. The phone is most affordable in the segment, a priced at just Rs. 4,999.

The latest Micromax Android phone runs on Android 2.3.6 Gingerbread Operating System, and there is no work on ICS upgrade as of now. It is having a 2 MP main camera, and supports expandable memory of up to 32GB. It also features Gravity Sensor, GPRS, and Bluetooth Connectivity, to make a complete android phone. The phone is obviously giving hard competition to Samsung Galaxy Y, which comes at around Rs. 7,000 price range. Actually it is beating Galaxy Y, when we compare somethings, especially Speach recognition features making it a better phone (Just my point of view personally).

Micromax has equipped this phone with AISHA, which is designed to translate works into the actual action. In simple words, when you will simply speak a name of location of person, you can simply connect to that particular business of people. The ‘AISHA’ also tells whether condition, when user say ‘What is the weather in Delhi‘, and AISHA will answer the question with like ‘The weather is sunny‘, when you’ll say ‘Update my Status on Facebook’ it will open Facebook, when you’ll speak the word ‘find me pizza’ then the phone will search for nearest location of you and then will show this on the screen. Hence, with using the voice commands, user’s can experience an awesome feature on their phone. To use this AISHA application, users would require a Google Account and Internet Connection (Through Wi-Fi, 3G or GPRS). The app is promised to continue updating occasionally, which you can check with tapping on the option ‘What is the new option’, which will bring the latest in AISHA.
