Dell’s First Ultrabook, Dell XPS 13, which as announced at CES in January, now hitting the entry into Indian market. Dell has today officially unveiled this ultrabook, in a media event held in Mumbai, where most of Indian Technology Media Sites and bloggers were present.
Dell XPS 13 is powered by Intel Core i7 2637M Processor, along with Intel HD 3000 Graphics, which powers the HD WLED 300-nit display screen. The Ultrabook has 128GB, and 256GB SSD, which allows everyone to store unlimited data including HD movies or songs. The most highlighted points at the launch event was Performance, Battery Life, and its Screen. The 13.3-inch screen is HD WLED Display, which delivers awesome graphics with the help of HD technology. Dell is offering 100GB cloud storage, along with Dell DataSafe for free backup of data.
Dell XPS 13 Ultrabook is packed in carbon fiber crafted body for stunning looks, this reflects nice shine also. It is having USB 3.0 Jacks, in addition to USB 2.0, beside MaxxAudio 4 for high quality audio processing and good sound. The buyers will get 13 months subscription of Skype premium free with purchase, while Windows 7 Home Premium also comes pre-installed. The ultrbook is 0.25-inch thin for lightweight and portability, and becomes further powerful with technologies like Intel Rapid Start and Smart Connect, for faster booting and enhanced connectivity respectively.
Thanks to 4GB DDR3 RAM for fast performance, 1.3MP Webcam for video calling, anodized aluminium and Gorilla Glass adds value to force consumers to buy this ultrabook. The company said that Dell XPS 13 Ultrabook specs are not configurable yet, and price is also Rs. 50000, so you have option to buy bundled ultrabook only at the moment.
