Tablets are attracting attention of each Mobile Phone maker, every one want to get forayed into fastest growing min-computer aka Tablets market. The rumor has got our attention today, which is posted by a Tech Journalist, Karan Bajan on his blog.

Micromax ICS Tablet Layout Micromax to Launch Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich Tablet Soon

According to the rumor, Micromax is planning to launch a New Tablet, which would be based on latest Google Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich (ICS) Operating System. With this launch, Micromax would get entry into highly competitive market, and which have lead of Samsung Galaxy Tab and Apple iPad Tablets. After doing good in Mobile Phones, and becoming largest home grown market of mobile phones, the Micromax Plannings seems usual, like other makers, but timely entry matters.

Though, Google is looking to launch Android 5.0 Jellybean soon, but makers are at Android 4.0 ICS yet, but no surprise, we hope Micromax would also make its tablet compatible with upcoming Android 5.0 as well. As per rumor, the Micromax ICS Tablet would be featured with a 7-inch Capacitive Touch screen and running on Dual Core Processor (Probably 1.2-1.5GHz, as per my prediction). The tablet also would feature, expandable memory up to 32GB, HDMI-out port, miniUSB Port (But not for charging, as Micromax’s dedicated DC-5V charger would be provided).

Furthermore, the tablet would provide 3D capability, in which it will have 3D vision logo on the backside. According to Karan, there would be no rear camera, which is a missing point i would not expect. It would provide 2160p quad-HD resolution video playback, though there is no TV or Monitor in the market, which can play this format yet. The most notable point is that, Micromax has completed the development of this ICS Tablet, and they are ready to bring it before March 15th, in this financial year only. The tablet should be priced around Rs. 15,000- Rs. 18000 as per specifications.
