The 3G has been launched across several cities of India, but it is not working correctly till now. The users are not going with it, due to overpriced data charges, and so far 3G has not been reached to Small Cities or Towns. Among the states, where 3G has been launched in early stage, Punjab is also one of them. In Punjab, currently 2 players in 3G, Aircel and Tata Docomo, who was first one to bring the fastest Wireless Internet in Punjab.
Today, we have got exclusive news today that Tata Docomo 3G Network, is not working since more than 2 Weeks. It is under big failure, and users are not able to access Internet. The issue is biggest, because Engineers of the company are working since mid-January to resolve the issue, the services are not restored as of now.
Team TechClap.com have tested the access of Tata Docomo 3G in Mohali, Ludhiana and also in Malerkotla, those cities where 3G services was launched, but there is no luck to get it work. Mr. Dilshad from Malerkotla told us that he tried to call Customer Care 3 times in the mean time, but they are just saying it will work soon. Mr. Karanveer Singh from Faridkot said they he have tried to call customer care executives 6 times, but same reply. Few of others also reported same that they are badly affected due to Tata Docomo’s 3G network failure.
Since Tata Docomo 3G Data Network is completely Off till know, so what should we expect where India is going? Probably, India is unable to implement 3G yet, and we should not expect 4G before 2015. As due to usual trend, 3G will usually take 1 more year to see some price drop in costs, and also to reach in all cities and towns.
We have tried to reach Tata Docomo customer service personally also, they also confirmed there is some maintained work going on, and services are expected to be restored soon, but situation is somewhat serious, because maintenance or configuration work usually take few days, not weeks. We hope to see 3G services of Tata Docomo again working soon.
The users are in trouble, also that they are unable to work on 2G as well. According to our exclusive sources, Tata Docomo’s 2G Internet also getting disconnected in half-an-hour intervals. 2G is giving them just 2-3KBPS, down from 30-40 downloading speed, which is worst enough. According to the consumers of the company, the 2G internet was working fine, before arrival of Tata Docomo 3G, but now it is just in decade, at least for now. So where users would go? This can be answered by Tata Docomo only.
Do share with us if you are also affected with this network failure.
