Zen Mobile, a well-known mobile phones company, has just announced the launch of its new handset, the Zen A60. It is claimed as most affordable and cheapest 3G handset available in the market, and first ever 3G mobile phone from the company.
The Zen A60 is equipped with a 2-4-inch QVGA TFT screen that is claimed to enhance the Internet experience with clear visuals. Like other phones from Zen Mobile, this handset is also Dual-SIM (GSM+GSM) enabled, that means users can use 3G SIM along with a standard 2G SIM card.
“It’s a great accomplishment for the company to enter into the new segment by launching its first 3G phone, the A-60 which is an inexpensive service for the consumers. We firmly believe that 3G technologies and future enhancements will offer the most expeditious and cost effective means of providing mobile internet access to the mass market,” said Deepesh Gupta, Managing Director, Zen Mobile.
The A-60 from Zen Mobile boasts decent specifications and features. It is equipped with dual cameras including 3.2MP camera back-facing camera and VGA front-facing camera for video calling facility. Thanks to its 3G capability, that enables users to access various social networking services like Gtalk, FB, Twitter and Skype. The handset features Bluetooth, 3.5mm audio jack, MP3 and Mp4 Players, and FM Radio. It comes with 78MP internal memory and supports expandable memory of up to 16GB. The Zen A60 is powered by a 1000 mAh battery that is claimed to deliver up to 4 hours of talk time and up to 150 hours (6Days) of standby-time on 3G network. Moreover, the Zen Mobile A60 also features GP, digital compass as well as maps assistance support.
The Zen A60 3G enabled Mobile Phone is now available at suggested retail price of just Rs. 3,249 through all leading mobile stores across India.
