PC Giant, Dell has announced recently, the Dell Vostro V131 Laptop which is specifically designed for Small Business users. It is claimed to provide up to 9.5 hours of battery backup and packed in thin and attractive design.
The Dell Vostro V131 Notebook is equipped with 13.3-inch anti-glare display with 1366×768 pixels resolution and powered by either Intel Core i3 or i5 processors along with DDR3 RAM and a 7200RPM 320GB hard drive for multitasking such as everyday office operations like document editing, presentations and email simultaneously. “We designed the Vostro V131 to deliver fast, uninterrupted multitasking for today’s business challenges,” says Sam Burd, vice president of Dell’s Consumer & SMB Product Group. “The result is a feature-rich laptop for mobile professionals who want full performance to support their technology demands without sacrificing design and portability. In addition, the V131 offers services and software solutions that improve productivity and data security.”
Other specifications of The Vostro V131 include Fingerprint reader, Absolute LoJack security software, full HD camera, chiclet keyboard with backlit option, and quick launch keys. Moreover, the connectivity features includes WWAN, WiMax & LTE (only available in US), WLAN and Bluetooth 3.0 as well as USB 3.0 ports. As mentioned above, the Dell Vostro V131 is businesses optimized laptop, which will be available starting September with My Business Toolkit that is integrated with business oriented software and tools. In addition, the company will offer free Web.com website hosting as well as 15 months subscription of Trend Micro Worry-Free Business Security Services, and Dell DataSafe for automatic data back-ups also being offered along with the purchase of this laptop. It has dimensions of 12.96″(W) x 0.63-0.83″(H) x 9.36″(D) and having just 1.64kg weight, that makes it thin and light notebook.
The Dell Vostro V131 is now available at starting Price of $449 (Approx Rs. 22400) at Dell’s official website. There is no information at the moment about its launch and availability in India or other countries.
