Kaspersky Lab has announced the availability of the Kaspersky Internet Security 2012 and Kaspersky Antivirus 2012, during the event held at The Park Hotel in Kolkata on Saturday.
The new versions of Kaspersky are claimed to provide enhanced protections, such as sandbox for launching suspicious applications in secure mode, as well as cloud-based reputation database, virtual keyboard and many other features integrated with 2012 versions of Kaspersky. The new Kaspersky Internet Security 2012 and Kaspersky Anti-Virus 2012 are able to scan the suspicious files or programs even without signatures, as lot of viruses spreading all over the internet and it is getting hard for companies to include every virus in their signature database. The new versions also track programs activity during work sessions. The new versions of Kaspersky can also roll back the actions executed by any programme in the current session. The new versions also make use of Behavioral templates that helps to locate unknown malicious code quickly.

The 2012 versions of Kaspersky Products include cloud-based technologies that seems to provide more tight security. The 2012 versions also features a reputation of any file that users can find with a single click from file’s threat rating as determined by the Kaspersky Security Network cloud service. The new versions warn users if they enter into suspicious or malware site. The company said that hybrid approach is best option at the moment for security against threats. The 2012 versions of both Kaspersky Internet Security and Kaspersky Anti-Virus are claimed to be faster compared to earlier versions. The update system of new Kaspersky is also enhanced, and designed to not affect the system performance or download speeds. The new 2012 editions of Kaspersky crated with 3D and animated graphics for superior user-friendly and attractive interface. They also adds touch screen devices compatibility and also all activating and purchasing licenses are now kept into only one window.
