Leading memory and storage company, Silicon Power (SP) has announced the launch of latest stylish USB flash drive, the SP Touch 835 USB.
The new Silicon Power Touch 835 USB Flash Drive boasts modern metallic looks with a starlight blue color. The Silicon Power has crafted this drive with metal sandblasting technique for coating and to protect the surface from scratches as well as for quality looks. The new SP flash drive is claimed to be fully dustproof, shockproof, as well as waterproof, Thanks to the COB (Chip On Board) technology. The Touch 835 has a lidless design with retractable USB port, and boasts USB 2.0 Interface and also backward compatible with USB 1.1.
The SP Touch 835 Flash drive has dimensions of 35.5mm x 12.3mm x 4.5mm and weighs just 4.5g. It will be available in 2GB, 4GB, 8GB, 16GB storage capacities and fully supports Windows XP/Vista/7, Mac OS 10.3.x, Linux 2.6.x operating systems. The flash drive comes with free software including SP Widget that is set of various back up and security tools, and Free 60 days trial of Norton AntiVirus 2011. Though, company has not revealed the price details of Touch 835 flash drive.
UPDATE (17 August, 2011): Silicon Power has officially launched Power Touch 835 USB 2.0 Flash Drive in India at Price Rs. 489 for 2GB, Rs. 519 for 4GB, Rs. 889 for 8GB, and Rs. 1299 for 16GB.
