Kingston Digital has announced the new wireless storage device, called Kingston Wi-Drive for Apple iOS Devices including iPad, iPhone and iPod touch.

Kingston Wi-Drive is stylish, sleek and portable device, which allows users to check or view their important media from anywhere in the world without requiring online access and also eliminates the need of cloud-based technology. The company claimed that Flash-based memory technology incorporated with Wi-Drive is better and durable compared to traditional platter-based hard disk drives, which enables users to access their media at blazing fast speed which helps users to save their valuable time.

Kingston Wi-Drive provides portable and shareable storage for all Apple iOS devices with its built-in Wi-Fi signal, which allows users to stream movies, listen to music, and view pictures and read documents with the help of Wi-Drive App, which is available for download free of cost in the App Store. The device is available in 16GB and 32GB storage capacities, and it allows up to three people to access files at same time from their Apple Devices with full performance, the company claimed. The Wi-Drive weighs 86.18 grams and it is now shipping in U.S. and Canada.

The Wi-Drive can be purchased in United States (U.S.) from Fry and J&R outlets, as well as from online through Amazon.com, Buy.com, JR.com, Newegg.com and TigerDirect.com. In Canada, it’ll be sold through NCIX.com, Bestbuy.ca, Canadacomputers.com, Futureshop.ca and Memoryexpress.com.
