Taiwan Based PC Giant Acer has refreshed their TimelineX Series of Notebooks. The company has officially unveiled Acer Aspire 3830T, 4830T and 5830T at CeBIT 2011. These new TimelineX Series notebooks will be equipped with Intel Sandy Bridge processors, according to the NotebookItalia.
The new Acer TimelineX Notebooks are crafted with a new design, so called “Ethos-like’ and similar to Acer’s multimedia notebooks. The chiclets keyboard replaces the classic Acer FineTop and boasts soft and clear lines. The Acer Aspire 3830TThe lines are softer and less clear, while the keyboard is a model chiclet to separate elements to replace the classic Acer FineTop. Acer Aspire 3830T and 4830T TimelineX features 3-4GB DDR3 RAM and 500GB Hard Drive running at 5400rpm.
According to the rumors, Acer Aspire 4830T will be powered by Intel Core i5-2410M (2.3 GHz) processor and will boast 4GB DDR3 1333 MHz RAM, 500GB Hard Disk running at 5400rpm, and Intel GMA 3000 Graphics. It features a 14 inch WXGA HD LED Backlight CineCrystal display and comes with Windows 7 Home Premium Operating System. It has a DVD optical Drive and sound is enhanced by 2 speakers with Dolby Home Theater v3. It has 5in1 card reader, HDMI, VGA, audio jack, two USB 2.0 posts and one USB 3.0 Port. The Acer Aspire 4830T supports Wi-Fi b / g / n + Gigabit Ethernet and Bluetooth 3.0 + HS connectivity options. The 6 cell 6000mAh 66.6Whr battery provides 9 hours of backup. For video calling it boasts 1.3megapixel CrystelEye webcam and also boasts multitouch touchpad. The notebook has 342 × 245 × 24 – 25.4 mm dimensions and 2.2KG weight.
Both the TimelineX notebooks will be available in Europe and Italy by April 2011, pricing details are not announced yet.
