Samsung has introduced its two new products, Galaxy S II and Galaxy Tab 10.1 during a pre-MWC event. Lets look at the Galaxy S II Smartphone and Galaxy Tab 10.1 Tablet.
Samsung Galaxy S II
Samsung Galaxy S II is equipped with 4.3-inch WVGA Super AMOLED Plus capacitive display and powered by a dual-core processor. For delivering superb graphics and enhanced gaming experience, it boasts improoved GPU. and quoted as the most powerful processor in a phone today. It will have great gaming capabilities through an improved GPU. The smartphone uses a Samsung’s own Orion system-on-a-chip and yes, it does have 1GB worth of RAM. It is just 8.49mm thick, weighs 116 grams and powered by 1650 mAh battery.
The smartphone supports 1080p video recording with its 8 megapixel camera with autofocus and LED Flash, it also boasts 2 megapixel front facing camera. It incorporates Adobe Flash 10.1 that provides superb web browsing. This Galxy S successor boasts a UX UI and features 4 Samsung hugs including the Reader for reading books and online newspapers, the Game, the Music and the Social Hub for connect to your friends.The Galaxy S II features Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, DLNA, 3G, A-GPS and Bluetooth 33.0 + HS connectivity options and also featurs Sterio FM radio with RDS. It comes with 16/32 GB internal storage and supports expandable memory up to 32 GB.
Galaxy Tab 10.1
Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 is a 10.1 inch tablet that uses NVIDIA Tegra 2 chip to deliver superb Android experience. It is powered by dual core processor and GPU for enhanced graphics and gaming experience and runs on latest Android 3.0 Honeycomb OS. The Galaxy Tab 10.1 tablet is equipped with a 10.1 inch WXGA display screen with 1280×800 pixels and it has 10.9mm thickness and and 599g weight. It is equipped with dual cameras- 8 megapixel main camera on the back with capability of recording of FullHD 1080p video, and the 2 megapixel camera on front for video call/ video chat or self portraits. It has Stereo Speakers on both sides to deliver superb sound. The Galaxy Tab 10.1 tablet is powered by a 6850 mAh battery for longer backup. Apart from these features, The Samsung Galaxy tab 10.1 tablets has also capability to encode and decode 1080p videos on the device itself.
Samsung has not mentioned price and availablity details of Samsung Galaxy S II and Galaxy Tab 10.1, but it is expected that Galaxy Tab 10.1 should launched in global markets by first quarter of 2011. We hope both these gadgets hit Indian shores soon.
