Videocon Launches its second Android Phone V7400 in India

We’d seen the launch of Videocon’s first Android Phone ZEUS V7500 Launch in October 2010. Now company has launched their second Android powered smartphone V7400 in Indian market. According to the sources, the V7400 is just rebranded Huawei U8100.

The Videocon V7400 is powered by Android 2.1 Eclair Operating System ‘Doesnt’ look old?’, 3.2 Megapixel camera 3.2 megapixel camera and 7.1cm (2.8) 262K color TFT single touch resistive touchscreen with 320 x 240 pixel resolution. The camera records videos at 20fps.

The V7400 has a weight of 104 gm and Dimension of 107.5 mm x 57 mm x 13.8 mm. The phone comes with multimedia features including- Multi-Format Audio Player, MP4 & 3GP Video Player, FM Radio. Pre-Loaded SNS Apps and 3.5 mm Headset Jack for connecting any headsets. The phones supports supto 16GB T-Flash card and supports Bluetooth, 3G HSDPA upto 7.2 Mbps, EDGE, GPRS, WAP,WiFi, GPS, MicroUSB connectivity. It also supports in-built wireless tethering support and enables user’s access to thousands of Android Applications from App market.

The Videocon V7400 comes with 1150 mAH Li-ion battery that provides 4.5 hrs Talk Time and upto 11 days Standby Time. Videocon is offering 30 mins  daily free local calls to any network for 1 year plus Unlimited free local calls to Videocon numbers for 1 year bundled with the V7400 smartphone. Though, offer is only valid in selected areas of Videocon GSM Mobile Services Network. The Videocon V7400 is Priced at Rs. 12,995 and will be available at your nearest mobile phone stores soon.  Sales Package contents includes- Handset, Charger, USB Data cable, Handsfree kit, Battery, Wireless Tether Guide, Top 50 google applications guide, User Manual, Warranty Card, and Service Centre Directory.

Buying the Videocon V7400 is not a good deal because it is Android 2.1 Eclair based phone, and there are no signs about Android 2.2 Upgrade yet.
