As we reported in November 2010, the announcement of Nokia C2-01 and X2-01. Now Nokia X2-01 is finally hitting the Indian Shores.

Nokia has launched its affordable QWERTY keypad mobile phone, X2-01 in Indian Market. The handset is designed for fast communications and for those people who needs to type text alot on social network websites, Thanks to its full QWERTY Keypad.

Nokia X2-01 is Nokia X2-01 is a S40 operating system handset that is equipped with 2.4-inch QVGA Display with a 320 x 240 resolution and VGA Camera which captures images at resolution of 640 x 480 pixels. This device comes with Communities app which integrates Facebook into the handset and this device shows user’s friends’ updates directly on the device homescreen and provides ability to easily post their updates and photos with one click. The X2-01 is equipped with an has an integrated email client that supports Ovi Mail, Yahoo! Mail, Gmail, Windows Live, Hotmail and other popular POP/IMAP services.

Nokia X2-01  supports EGPRS/WAP internet connectivity and it also features Bluetooth 2.1 with EDR and USB 2.0 Connectivity. Apart from this the handset delivers superb sound quality and offers one touch access to touch access to music, media player, FM radio. It also features Ovi Store for new apps and comes with Gtalk, Windows Live Messenger and Yahoo! Messenger instant messengers. The handset supports expandable memory upto 8GB so that you can store huge no. of songs on your handset. It measures 119.4 x 59.8 x 14.3mm in size and weighs 107.5g. Only feature users will miss in this handset is only WiFi, but it supports GPRS/EDGE connectivity.

The Nokia X2-01 is now available starting immediately at Nokia Stores and other retailers near you at Price Rs. 4459. It is available in four color variants including Red, Silver and Azure.
