Plustek has announced the launch of Plustek OpticSlim 2600 flat-bed scanner in Indian market. Designed for both home and small business users, OpticSlim 2600 has a ultra-slim build that is easy to carry because it fits easily alongside laptop in bag.

The Plustek OpticSlim 2600 scaner delivers high performance and enables users to scan documents and send the digital to clients and seniors. But users have to make sure that there is power backup up in their laptops or notebooks. This scanner is ideal for fashion designer, freelancers, etc. and other users who needs a portable scanner.

These buttons makes users work easy than ever and its TWAIN interface supports for automatic fine-tuning of the documents during scanning.

The OpticSlim 2600 scan and organize all the documents, photos, articles, brochures and business cards in text files and PDFs in addition to standard image file. The scanner’s lid comes with special designed hinges that is ideal for scanning thicker books and 3D objects, that further enhances its scanning quality.

Plustek, OpticSlim 2600 comes with set of patented software including NewSoft Presto ImageFolio 4.5, NewSoft Presto! PageManager 7, ABBYY FineReader 9.0 Sprint. In addition to editing, the scanner also allows users to save the documents in various file formats including PDF, BMP, PCX, PJEG, TIFF, PNG and open files of PDF, BMP, PCX, DCX, JPEG, TIFF, PNG format. The scanner also offers option to export the saved documents into various Microsoft and open file formats like MS Word, MS Excel, Word Pro, WordPerfect, etc. The company has not revealed OpticSmim 2600 price details.
