NEC Launches MultiSync 23-inch EA232WMi IPS Panel Monitor

A leading LCD display and projector solutions provider, NEC Display Solutions of America has announced its 23-inch MultiSync EA232WMi, a 16:9 monitor that is designed for corporate, financial, healthcare, engineering, CAD and other professional applications.

The MultiSync EA232WMi is the successor of NEC’s MultiSync EA231WMi Monitor. The NEC MultiSync EA232WMi incorporates an IPS panel for delivering superior color, viewing angles and image quality. It also comes with LED-backlit technology that enables monitor to consume less power, control heat and carbon dioxide emissions. The montor’s display also equipped with ambient light sensor and ECO Mode for saving enery and increase product life.

The MultiSync EA232WMi is equipped with 23-inch 16:9 display with 1920 x 1080 full HD resolution, IPS panel with LED backlighting, and offers 25,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio. Connectivity options includes DisplayPort, DVI-I, VGA and integrated 4-port USB 2.0 hub. It has 110mm height fully adjustable stand with adjust, tilt, swivel and pivot functionality. It also incorporates good looking speakers with audio jack and comes with Ambient light sensor, ECO Mode, carbon footprint meter and cost meter. Further more, the monitor is ENERGY STAR 5.0 and TCO 5.1 compliant.

NEC MultiSync EA232WMi will be available in January 2011 at estimated retails price of $299with a 3-year limited parts and labor warranty and will be available in January 2011 at an estimated street price of $299 (Approx Rs. 13,500) across US.
