Logitech Announces Wireless Speaker Adapter for Intel WiDi-enabled Laptops

Since the introduction of  Intel Wireless Display, major manufacturers are expected to ship soon notebooks and other devices built with this technology.  With an idea to transform your favorite speakers into a wireless sound system, Logitech has introduced the Logitech Wireless Speaker Adapter for Intel WiDi-enabled laptops. Intel Wireless Display (Intel WiDi) enables users to quickly connect their laptop audio to their existing stereo speakers via Wi-Fi.

And you can do it with the speaker system you already own.”

Logitech Wireless Speaker Adapter is equipped with WiDi wireless connectivity to stream audio from Intel WiDi-enabled laptop to user’s favorite speakers. The users will enjoy better sound quality compared to integrated laptops speakers that will enhance their experiend and take entertainment to next level.  The best about this adapter is that it enables laptop to stay portable and enables users to move around with freedom. The Intel Wireless Display software is easy to set up and use, Simply plug the Logitech adapter into your speakers using the included standard analog RCA or 3.5 mm jacks, then launch the Intel WiDi software on your laptop, push “Connect” on your laptop and adapter, and your Intel WiDi-enabled laptop will automatically pair with your speakers.

In addtion, Logitech has also unveiled Wireless Speaker Adapter for Bluetooth audio devices allows you to stream your favorite music music or other audio from your  smartphone or tablet to your favorite speakers with the Bluetooth wireless connectivity.  The new Wireless Speaker Adapter for Bluetooth audio devices uses Bluetooth wireless connectivity. Bluetooth software makes it easy to set up and use and you can attach your speakers at your comfort using the included standard analog RCA or 3.5 mm jacks.

Both the new Logitech wireless speaker adapters are very small that can hidden away in your living room, bedroom or kitchen. Both the devices, The Logitech Wireless Speaker Adapter for Intel WiDi-enabled laptops and the Logitech Wireless Speaker Adapter for Bluetooth audio devices are expected to become available in the U.S. and Europe in May 2011 for a suggested retail price of $29.99 (U.S.).
